A New Space for Electronics
The young composer Julia Blondeau, finishing her PhD at IRCAM, uses electronics like a "beam of light, a double, a flexible and reactive counterpoint, capable of following and anticipating the performance of four soloists and create a connection among their different temporalities". Electronics become their own figure, beyond a simple augmentation of instruments.
